New STEM Lab Opens Its Doors In Nairobi
After eighteen months of fundraising and planning, our new Nairobi STEM lab officially opened its doors this month. The center adds twelve additional workstations, a small robotics corner, and a dedicated space for our weekend STEM Saturday sessions — effectively doubling the number of students our STEM Engagement program can serve each term.
The lab was made possible through a combination of individual donor contributions, a local business partnership that supplied refurbished computers, and volunteer hours from three former STEM Saturday students who helped set up the space themselves.
Enrollment for the next STEM Saturday intake at the Nairobi location opens shortly — interested families can reach out through our contact page to be added to the waiting list.
